Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Present menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all orders are delivered correctly and to the highest standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, refilling condiments, and clearing used dishes.
- Process payments accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail pairings, is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or dishes as needed.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
