Responsibility
- Prepare and cook ingredients according to standardized recipes and special orders.
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen supervisor.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes to meet quality and aesthetic standards.
- Support in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service role (fresh graduates with a passion for culinary arts are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
- Basic English proficiency is a plus.
