Responsibility
- Oversee all restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory, and financial performance, to ensure efficiency and profitability.
- Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with Japanese hospitality standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and brand loyalty.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and source premium ingredients to uphold authentic Japanese culinary traditions.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., sales, labor costs, customer feedback) and implement data-driven improvements.
- Create and execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to attract and retain a diverse clientele.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 2 years in a General Manager role (preferably in Japanese or fine dining).
- Proven track record of driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and leading high-performing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Japanese cuisine, service etiquette, and cultural nuances.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Fluency in English (additional proficiency in Japanese or Indonesian is a plus).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
