Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to KRU ANOOH COFFEE standards.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas in compliance with hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report shortages to management.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, including cash handling and POS system use.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to deliver innovative and consistent products.
- Assist in training new staff on coffee preparation, customer service, and workplace safety protocols.
- Handle customer feedback professionally and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (fresh graduates with passion are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment (e.g., espresso machines, grinders), and milk steaming techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a multicultural customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is advantageous.
