Responsibility
- Process customer payments accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen teams to ensure seamless order flow and billing accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking receipts, pens, and other supplies.
- Upsell menu items, promotions, or loyalty programs when appropriate.
- Adhere to company policies, including hygiene standards and financial procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
