Responsibility
- Process customer payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions.
- Assist guests with menu inquiries, take orders, and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including receipts and financial records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving concerns.
- Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Reconcile daily sales reports and assist with inventory tracking for front-of-house supplies.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards in compliance with restaurant policies.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier or hospitality experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are advantageous).
- Friendly, patient, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
