As a Reservations Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing all guest inquiries, bookings, and reservations across multiple channelsāphone, email, and online platforms. Responsibility
- Manage all incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking systems with professionalism and efficiency.
- Coordinate table allocations, ensuring optimal seating arrangements while accommodating guest preferences and special requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records, including guest details, dietary restrictions, and special occasions.
- Liaise with the front-of-house team to communicate reservation updates, VIP arrivals, and group bookings.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Promote upselling opportunities, such as private dining or event packages, to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue.
- Monitor and report on reservation trends, occupancy rates, and no-shows to support operational improvements.
- Stay updated on menu offerings, promotions, and restaurant policies to provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in reservations, front desk, or guest services within the hospitality industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in reservation management software (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
