Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly, adhering to presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing supplies, and clearing used dishes.
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately using POS systems, providing receipts as needed.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance the guest experience and contribute to sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant, cafe, or similar establishment (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine passion for customer service.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or supplies.
