Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the reservations team, ensuring efficient and accurate booking processes.
- Monitor and manage room inventory, rates, and availability to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Handle complex guest inquiries, reservations, and modifications with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with front office and sales teams to ensure seamless guest experiences from booking to check-out.
- Train and mentor reservations agents on best practices, systems, and customer service standards.
- Generate reports on reservation trends, occupancy rates, and revenue performance for management review.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues related to reservations promptly and effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive pricing, and promotional strategies to enhance booking conversions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel reservations, front office, or guest services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
- Strong proficiency in property management systems (PMS) such as Opera, SynXis, or similar.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
