Responsibility
- Oversee daily front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Lead, train, and mentor front desk staff to deliver high-quality, personalized service aligned with hotel standards.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor room availability, reservations, and allocations, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, payments, and special requests using property management systems.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety regulations, and local hospitality laws.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote hotel services and upsell opportunities.
- Prepare daily reports on occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback for management review.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a front office or guest services role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and motivating teams.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining impeccable service standards.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
