Responsibility
- Lead the migration of regional travel providers across APAC, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum cost efficiency.
- Manage VIP and executive travel arrangements, including itinerary planning, logistics, and on-ground support for high-profile stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel vendors, negotiating contracts and service-level agreements to optimize value and performance.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with corporate travel policies, identifying gaps and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and cost control.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, HR, Legal) to align travel strategies with broader business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze travel data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and enhanced traveler experiences.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on travel spend, vendor performance, and policy adherence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for travel-related inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring a seamless experience for all travelers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate travel management, with a focus on APAC markets.
- Proven track record in vendor management, contract negotiation, and travel policy compliance.
- Strong understanding of global travel trends, technologies, and best practices in the hospitality and tourism industry.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in travel management systems (e.g., Concur, Amadeus, Sabre) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional APAC languages are a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
