Responsibility
- Design and synthesize novel Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for CO₂ capture applications.
- Conduct electrochemical experiments to evaluate MOF performance in carbon capture.
- Characterize materials using techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, and gas adsorption analysis.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize MOF structures for scalability and efficiency.
- Document research findings and prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research progress at internal meetings and international conferences.
- Mentor junior researchers and assist in laboratory management.
- Stay updated with advancements in MOF technology and carbon capture methods.
Qualifications
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in MOF synthesis, characterization, and electrochemical applications.
- Strong background in materials science, with expertise in CO₂ capture technologies.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, and gas adsorption.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for publishing and presenting research.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
- Experience with laboratory safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with computational modeling of MOFs is a plus.
