Responsibility
- Design and synthesize porous materials for specific applications, such as energy storage, filtration, or catalysis.
- Conduct experimental research using advanced characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, BET).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable manufacturing processes for porous materials.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to optimize material properties and performance.
- Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in porous materials and related fields.
- Assist in securing research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships.
- Mentor junior researchers and students involved in related projects.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the synthesis and characterization of porous materials.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
- Experience with advanced laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for materials development.
