Responsibility
- Assist in designing and executing research studies in cardiovascular medicine and data science, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.
- Develop and implement machine learning models, statistical analyses, and data visualization to interpret complex biomedical datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, bioinformaticians, and engineers, to integrate findings into actionable insights.
- Prepare and present research findings through reports, manuscripts, and conference presentations under the guidance of senior researchers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of experimental protocols, datasets, and results in compliance with ethical and institutional standards.
- Support the development of grant proposals and funding applications by contributing to background research and methodology sections.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in AI for healthcare, genomics, and cardiovascular research to inform project directions.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members or interns on research methodologies and tools.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning (Python, R, SQL, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with biomedical datasets, electronic health records (EHR), or cardiovascular research is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for collaborative and reporting purposes.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn) and version control (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and adherence to deadlines.
- Prior research experience in academia, healthcare, or industry is highly desirable.
