Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes and systems for research and industrial applications.
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and adherence to budgets.
- Conduct experimental studies, data analysis, and modeling to validate and improve chemical engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders, funding agencies, and peer-reviewed publications.
- Collaborate with academic and industry partners to identify research opportunities and secure funding for projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and ethical standards in all research activities.
- Mentor junior researchers and students, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in chemical engineering and project management to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in chemical engineering research, process development, or project management.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in tools like ASPEN Plus, MATLAB, or COMSOL.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with laboratory techniques, pilot-scale testing, and process scale-up is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards in chemical engineering (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
