Responsibility
- Conduct extensive literature reviews and keep abreast of current developments in policy research.
- Design, implement, and manage qualitative and quantitative data collection processes, including surveys and stakeholder interviews.
- Perform rigorous data analysis using statistical software (e.g., Stata, R, or Python) to support research findings.
- Draft, edit, and format research papers, technical reports, and executive policy briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate project logistics, including organizing seminars, workshops, and interdisciplinary collaborative meetings.
- Maintain high standards of academic integrity and ensure compliance with institutional research protocols.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Principal Investigators and project lead teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, or a related field.
- Strong grasp of research methodologies, with prior experience in social science research environments.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and data visualization software.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, persuasive narratives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a diverse academic team.
- Demonstrated interest in current policy issues within the Singaporean and global contexts.
