Responsibility
- Assist in designing and executing experiments related to RNA therapeutics, including synthesis, characterization, and functional assays.
- Develop and apply AI/ML models to analyze biological data, predict molecular interactions, and optimize drug candidates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including bioinformaticians, chemists, and clinicians, to integrate computational and experimental findings.
- Prepare and present research findings at internal meetings, conferences, and in peer-reviewed publications.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and databases in compliance with institutional and ethical guidelines.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in pharmaceutical sciences, biochemistry, and AI applications in drug discovery.
- Support grant writing and funding proposals by contributing data analysis and literature reviews.
- Mentor junior researchers or interns and foster a collaborative and innovative lab environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, gel electrophoresis, RNA sequencing) and/or computational tools (e.g., Python, R, machine learning frameworks).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex biological datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in drug discovery or genomics is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a track record of presenting research findings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary research environment.
- Prior experience in academic or industry research labs, particularly in RNA-based therapeutics, is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to or work remotely from Bali, Indonesia, with occasional travel to NTU's Singapore campus if required.
