Responsibility
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate financial reports related to IDT (Intercompany Data Transfer) recharges, ensuring compliance with BATâs global accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, and Operations) to streamline intercompany transaction processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to track IDT recharge performance, providing insights to senior management for data-driven decision-making.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and intercompany transactions, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including tax reporting and transfer pricing requirements.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting support to stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Masterâs degree or professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA is a plus).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, intercompany accounting, or a similar role, preferably in a multinational corporation.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Hyperion) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Familiarity with IFRS and local GAAP standards, as well as transfer pricing regulations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with global teams.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
