Responsibility
- Administer dialysis treatments to patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall condition before, during, and after dialysis sessions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about renal disease, dialysis procedures, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment details, vital signs, and any adverse reactions.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of dialysis equipment and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in renal care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Valid nursing license and registration with the relevant nursing board.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in renal nursing or dialysis care.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
