Responsibility
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and exit medical examinations to ensure workforce health and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor occupational health programs, including health surveillance, vaccination campaigns, and wellness initiatives.
- Investigate and manage workplace injuries, illnesses, and emergencies, providing immediate medical care and follow-up recommendations.
- Collaborate with HR, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), and management teams to assess workplace hazards and recommend control measures.
- Educate employees on health and safety best practices, including ergonomics, chemical exposure, and infectious disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records and health databases in compliance with confidentiality and legal standards.
- Conduct health risk assessments for new projects, equipment, or processes to mitigate potential occupational health risks.
- Stay updated on local and international occupational health regulations and ensure company adherence to all applicable laws.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (S.Ked or equivalent) from a recognized institution, with a valid Indonesian medical license (SIP).
- Specialization or certification in Occupational Health (Sp.OK or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health, corporate medicine, or industrial hygiene.
- Proven experience in workplace health assessments, emergency response, and health program development.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) regulations, and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) is required.
