Responsibility
- Assist licensed therapists in conducting patient rehabilitation sessions, including physical, occupational, or speech therapy.
- Prepare therapy equipment and ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and safe for patient use.
- Document patient progress, session notes, and administrative records accurately and confidentially.
- Provide support to patients during exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic activities under therapist supervision.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the lead therapist.
- Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and assist in ordering or restocking as needed.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and therapy techniques as directed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and rehabilitation plans.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related healthcare field.
- Prior experience in a therapy assistant role or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to ethical healthcare practices.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to travel between clinic locations in Bali as needed.
