Responsibility
- Conduct thorough audits of employee timesheets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in time-tracking data, escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, and department managers to clarify timesheet entries and validate approvals.
- Maintain meticulous records of audit findings, corrections, and follow-up actions in a centralized system.
- Generate and distribute audit reports summarizing key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance timesheet accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide guidance to employees on proper timesheet submission procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws, company policies, and payroll systems that may impact timesheet auditing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in timesheet auditing, payroll processing, or accounting (1+ years preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify anomalies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with payroll/HR software (e.g., Workday, ADP, QuickBooks).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high volumes of data accurately.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus.
- Prior experience in a remote or offshore role is advantageous.
