Responsibility

  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platforms, including server, client terminal, and mobile app issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve connectivity, latency, and execution problems for global traders, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with IT, development, and brokerage teams to investigate and fix platform bugs or performance bottlenecks.
  • Configure and maintain trading servers, VPS environments, and bridge integrations for seamless order execution.
  • Create and update technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides for internal and external use.
  • Monitor system health and proactively address potential issues before they impact users.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new brokers and customization of MT4/MT5 platforms to meet client requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and security best practices to provide cutting-edge support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting MT4/MT5 platforms in a brokerage or fintech environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration, networking (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS), and database management (MySQL, MSSQL).
  • Familiarity with trading infrastructure, including liquidity providers, bridges (e.g., OneZero, PrimeXM), and VPS setups.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to debug complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal) with clear communication skills for global stakeholders.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a proactive and client-focused mindset.
