Responsibility
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security in real-time using advanced NOC tools and platforms.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance issues with minimal downtime.
- Execute troubleshooting procedures for routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Document all network incidents, resolutions, and follow-up actions in ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
- Conduct regular network health checks and proactive maintenance to prevent potential issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal teams regarding network-related queries.
- Stay updated with the latest network technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in network operations, support, or administration in a NOC environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix).
- Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking hardware and CLI configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for effective collaboration.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are a plus.
