Responsibility
- Process and verify mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, and internal teams to gather and validate necessary documentation.
- Maintain and update mortgage records in CRM systems with meticulous attention to detail.
- Assist in preparing loan packages, disclosures, and closing documents for underwriting review.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding mortgage status, terms, and procedures with professionalism and clarity.
- Monitor application deadlines and follow up on pending items to ensure timely processing.
- Collaborate with underwriters and processors to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, lending policies, and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage processing, banking, or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage terminology, loan types, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage management software (e.g., Encompass, Calyx).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with reliable internet connectivity.
