Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for insurance document processing, including generation, validation, and storage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, QA, and business analysts) to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
- Optimize document workflows for performance, security, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability and reduce manual errors in document handling.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime for critical systems.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in insurtech, document automation, and cloud-based solutions to drive innovation.
- Document technical processes, APIs, and system architectures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on document processing, insurance systems, or fintech.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript, along with frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, or Node.js.
- Experience with document generation tools (e.g., PDFBox, iText, DocuSign API) and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with global teams.
