Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, products, or services from approved suppliers.
- Monitor and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., inventory, finance) to align procurement with business needs.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to prevent stockouts or excess.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports, including spend analysis and supplier performance metrics.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, or shipments with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and new suppliers to optimize procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles (entry-level candidates with strong potential are encouraged).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, night-shift environment (adaptability to time zones is a plus).
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries is advantageous.
