Responsibility
- Develop accurate and detailed Revit models for multi-residential projects in compliance with Australian design standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of design elements and structural requirements.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce high-quality 3D models and 2D documentation.
- Maintain and update project files, ensuring version control and adherence to naming conventions and organizational standards.
- Identify and resolve design conflicts or discrepancies in coordination with the project team.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to optimize design efficiency and constructability.
- Stay updated with the latest Revit features, BIM (Building Information Modeling) trends, and industry best practices.
- Participate in virtual team meetings and client presentations to discuss project progress and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing Revit proficiency.
- Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit (mandatory) and familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, or other BIM tools.
- Solid understanding of architectural principles, construction methodologies, and building codes (Australian standards a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free, high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Self-motivated and disciplined, with strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience.
