Responsibility
- Manage and oversee job costing for construction projects, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses, labor, and materials.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget vs. actual comparisons and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project budgets and provide financial insights.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll for construction-related expenses.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Provide financial support and guidance to the operations team as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on job costing or construction accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
