Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the manufacturing costing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of ERP costing modules, ensuring seamless integration with other financial systems.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports, financial statements, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to align costing strategies with operational goals.
- Monitor and analyze inventory costs, overhead expenses, and labor costs to ensure alignment with budgetary targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance costing processes, reduce waste, and increase profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams or cross-functional projects.
