Responsibility
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track and analyze production costs.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Lead cost audits and recommend process improvements.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- Experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
