Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Ensure accurate and timely general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors for seamless audits.
- Mentor and train accounting staff to enhance team performance and accuracy.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Stay updated on US GAAP standards and regulatory changes, ensuring organizational adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience with consolidated financial statements and multi-entity accounting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a proactive mindset.
