Responsibility
- Conduct thorough analysis of non-performing loans (NPLs) and distressed accounts to identify recovery opportunities.
- Develop and implement customized remedial action plans, including restructuring, negotiation, or legal proceedings.
- Liaise with clients, legal teams, and collection agencies to facilitate debt recovery and asset repossession.
- Monitor and report on the progress of remedial cases, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with credit risk teams to assess the viability of recovery strategies and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all remedial activities, including communications, agreements, and financial transactions.
- Provide regular updates to management on recovery rates, challenges, and market trends affecting asset performance.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices in debt recovery and customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in credit risk management, debt recovery, or a similar role within the banking/financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian financial regulations and remedial processes for NPLs.
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in financial data analysis.
- Familiarity with loan management systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for reporting and tracking.
- High integrity, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) is a must.
