As a Merchant Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our merchant network, ensuring seamless onboarding, and fostering long-term partnerships. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing our POS ecosystem, empowering businesses with cutting-edge payment solutions. Based in Bali’s key commercial hubs—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you’ll enjoy a collaborative work environment with standard office hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance in one of the world’s most sought-after destinations.
Responsibility
- Identify, engage, and onboard new merchants to adopt POS solutions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Conduct regular merchant visits and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our POS systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather merchant feedback and drive product improvements.
- Monitor merchant performance and usage metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Develop and execute targeted engagement strategies to increase merchant retention and satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting POS services.
- Prepare and present reports on merchant engagement activities, outcomes, and KPIs to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in merchant acquisition, sales, or relationship management within the banking or financial services sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and engagement targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with POS systems, payment solutions, and digital financial services.
- Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions as required.
