Responsibility
- Conduct reliability testing (CAF, reflow, thermal cycling, etc.) on electronic materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document and analyze test results, preparing detailed reports for engineering and quality teams.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify product defects and recommend process improvements.
- Follow strict ISO and IPC standards for testing procedures and quality control.
- Assist in the development of test protocols and methodologies for new product lines.
- Monitor and record environmental conditions in the lab to ensure optimal testing environments.
- Support troubleshooting efforts by providing technical insights based on test data.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in reliability testing, quality assurance, or a similar role in electronics manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with CAF testing, reflow soldering, and thermal shock testing.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as microscopes, thermal chambers, and electrical testers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test data and generate actionable reports.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IPC-TM-650, or other relevant industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
