Join PERSOL as a Manufacturing Engineer (NPI) in the vibrant heart of Bali, Indonesia, and play a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. Responsibility
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from concept to full-scale production, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product consistency.
- Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and production teams to resolve design-for-manufacturability (DFM) issues and implement cost-saving measures.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield rates, cycle times, and scrap rates, and propose data-driven improvements.
- Support lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to streamline operations and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and ISO/quality management systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or NPI within a high-volume production environment.
- Proven expertise in DFM (Design for Manufacturability), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (Green Belt/Black Belt certification is advantageous).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
