Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain hospital facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with local and international healthcare facility standards (e.g., JCI, ISO).
- Develop and manage capital improvement projects, from budgeting to execution, to enhance facility efficiency and patient care environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., clinical staff, IT, security) to address infrastructure needs and emergency repairs.
- Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Oversee vendor contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) for outsourced maintenance and construction projects.
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and hospital policies.
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and contingency plans for facility-related emergencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Professional certification (e.g., CFM, PE, or LEED AP) is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in HVAC systems, building automation, and energy management.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, OSHA, and healthcare facility regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in budgeting and vendor negotiations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BMS software, and CMMS (e.g., Maximo, UpKeep).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
