Responsibility
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for Gas Turbine Combined Cycle power plants, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for operational issues and propose effective solutions to enhance system efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and project management, to ensure seamless commissioning and handover of new power plant installations.
- Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or potential failures, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and Mitsubishi Power’s quality assurance protocols.
- Support the development of technical documentation, including operation manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in power generation are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in RMC, maintenance, or commissioning of Gas Turbine Combined Cycle power plants or similar thermal power systems.
- Strong knowledge of gas turbine technology, combined cycle systems, and auxiliary equipment (e.g., HRSG, steam turbines, generators).
- Proven experience in root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode analysis (FMA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, API) and regulatory requirements for power plant operations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in technical software (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, SAP PM) and data analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for project assignments.
