Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HNW/UHNW clients in Indonesia, acting as their primary point of contact for all private banking needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand HSBC’s client base in Indonesia, leveraging market insights and networking strategies.
- Provide tailored wealth management solutions, including investment advice, credit facilities, and estate planning, to meet clients’ financial objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., investment specialists, credit analysts, and product managers) to deliver integrated financial solutions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes in Indonesia to provide proactive advice to clients.
- Ensure compliance with HSBC’s policies, local regulations, and global standards for private banking and wealth management.
- Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance, client activity, and business development progress to senior management.
- Represent HSBC at industry events, client seminars, and networking forums to enhance the bank’s visibility in the Indonesian market.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in private banking, wealth management, or relationship management, with a focus on HNW/UHNW clients.
- Proven track record of business development and client acquisition in the Indonesian market or Southeast Asia.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian financial regulations, tax laws, and wealth management products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken).
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage a diverse client portfolio, and meet revenue targets.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and financial planning software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
