Responsibility
- Develop and execute individualized rehabilitation programs for patients with diverse conditions, including post-surgical, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate physical abilities, limitations, and progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and home care strategies to ensure long-term recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining accurate records to track improvements and adjust interventions.
- Utilize therapeutic equipment and modalities, such as resistance bands, weights, and hydrotherapy, to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and motivation to patients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Stay updated on the latest rehabilitation techniques and industry best practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Rehabilitation Therapy, or a related field. A Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rehabilitation Trainer, Physiotherapist, or in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Certification in rehabilitation training, therapeutic exercise, or a related specialization (e.g., NASM, ACE, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with the ability to apply this expertise in practical settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment tools, and electronic health records (EHR).
