Responsibility
- Accurately collect and enter patient demographic, insurance, and medical information into the hospital’s electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Verify patient identities and ensure all registration documents are complete and compliant with hospital policies.
- Coordinate with medical staff to confirm procedure requests, scheduling, and billing details.
- Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients and their families regarding registration processes and next steps.
- Process payments, insurance claims, and financial assistance applications with precision and confidentiality.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records, both digital and physical, to support seamless healthcare delivery.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies in patient information or billing inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including admissions, billing, and clinical staff, to ensure smooth patient flow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration or office management is a plus.
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in healthcare, customer service, or data entry.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly Bahasa Indonesia, are a plus.
