Responsibility
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients before, during, and after ophthalmic procedures, including pre- and post-operative assessments.
- Assist ophthalmologists in diagnostic tests, surgeries, and treatments (e.g., LASIK, cataract, glaucoma procedures).
- Administer medications, eye drops, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring strict adherence to protocols.
- Educate patients and families on eye health, post-operative care, and preventive measures with clarity and empathy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and electronic health systems in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Monitor and manage clinical supplies and equipment, ensuring sterility and readiness for procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
- Uphold infection control and safety protocols to maintain a sterile and secure clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid Indonesian Nursing License (STR) and registration with the Indonesian Nurses Association (PPNI).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in nursing, preferably in ophthalmology, surgery, or outpatient care.
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, procedures, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
