Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive postpartum care to new mothers, including physical and emotional support during recovery.
- Monitor and assess maternal health, addressing any complications or concerns with prompt and effective interventions.
- Assist with lactation support, breastfeeding education, and newborn feeding techniques to ensure optimal infant nutrition.
- Conduct neonatal assessments, including vital signs monitoring, weight checks, and developmental tracking.
- Educate mothers and families on postpartum self-care, newborn care, and warning signs of potential health issues.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote maternal and neonatal health awareness in Bali.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with a focus on maternal, neonatal, or postpartum care.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in postpartum, neonatal, or maternal health nursing.
- Strong clinical skills in maternal and neonatal assessment, including lactation support and newborn care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and culturally sensitive care.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural healthcare environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical healthcare practices.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare documentation systems.
