Responsibility
- Perform clinical laboratory tests (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology) with strict adherence to oncology-specific protocols.
- Prepare and analyze biological specimens from cancer patients, ensuring accuracy in test results for diagnosis and treatment monitoring.
- Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers, centrifuges, and PCR machines.
- Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare teams to interpret lab findings and support personalized cancer treatment plans.
- Follow strict biosafety and infection control standards in handling hazardous materials (e.g., chemotherapeutic agents).
- Document and verify test results in electronic health records (EHR) with meticulous attention to detail.
- Participate in quality assurance programs and laboratory accreditation processes (e.g., ISO, CAP).
- Stay updated on emerging oncology lab technologies and best practices through continuous education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field (e.g., Clinical Laboratory Science).
- Valid license as a Registered Medical Technologist (RMT) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably in oncology or hematology.
- Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and standard lab software.
- Strong knowledge of cancer biomarkers, tumor markers, and molecular diagnostics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining precision.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
