Responsibility
- Perform and analyze laboratory tests related to oncology, ensuring accuracy and precision in results.
- Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with oncologists and healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide insights for patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of laboratory procedures and findings.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards in laboratory operations.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to uphold laboratory excellence.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in oncology laboratory techniques and technologies.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and interns as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Valid license as a Registered Medical Technologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in oncology.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
