Responsibility
- Perform accurate laboratory tests for blood screening and compatibility testing.
- Ensure the integrity of blood samples and maintain proper cold chain management.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory diagnostic equipment.
- Document and interpret laboratory results accurately in accordance with quality assurance protocols.
- Assist in the collection, processing, and storage of blood units.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe laboratory environment following biosafety guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and maintain precise records for regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely delivery of diagnostic services.
Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Medical Technologist (RMT) by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; previous experience in a blood bank setting is an advantage.
- Proficiency in modern laboratory information systems and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-volume environments.
