Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients with diverse health conditions
- Develop and implement personalized dietary plans based on medical history, cultural preferences, and health goals
- Educate patients and families on proper nutrition, meal planning, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting nutritional plans as needed
- Stay current with latest research in nutritional science and evidence-based dietary practices
- Conduct group nutrition education sessions and wellness workshops
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Valid certification/registration as a Dietitian or Nutritionist (e.g., RD, RDN, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in dietary counselling or nutrition therapy
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various health conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Familiarity with electronic health records and nutrition software
- Cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations
