Responsibility
- Administer hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatments to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or acute kidney injury (AKI) in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs, fluid balance, and overall condition during dialysis treatments, promptly identifying and addressing any complications or adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment parameters, medications, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facility standards.
- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, medication management, and self-care techniques to promote long-term health and independence.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of dialysis equipment, including water treatment systems, dialyzers, and machines, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families, fostering a positive and reassuring environment during treatments.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and professional development opportunities to enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indonesia or eligibility for licensure (for international candidates).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in dialysis nursing, nephrology, or a related specialty (new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred).
- Strong clinical skills in venipuncture, IV therapy, and dialysis machine operation, with a keen attention to detail and patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a multicultural setting.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing patient needs.
