Responsibility
- Develop and execute regional procurement strategies to support business growth and cost optimization across Asia.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing for raw materials, packaging, and OEM partnerships, ensuring quality, compliance, and scalability.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Finance) to align procurement with product development and production timelines.
- Implement supplier performance metrics and conduct regular audits to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, logistical, and market fluctuations.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by sourcing eco-friendly materials and partnering with ethical suppliers.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative procurement solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CIPS certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the food, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management in a regional or global context.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, import/export laws, and logistics in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to influence internal and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
- Fluency in English; additional Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
