Responsibility
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the ophthalmology field to drive product adoption and advocacy.
- Identify and acquire strategic distributorships to expand the company’s product portfolio and market reach.
- Organize and facilitate medical advisory boards, symposiums, and educational events to engage healthcare professionals.
- Provide medical and scientific expertise to internal teams, including sales and marketing, to support product positioning and messaging.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute regional medical strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between the company and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, institutions, and industry associations.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing medical promotions and interactions with healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related life sciences field; advanced degree (e.g., MD, PhD) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs, key account management, or a similar role within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
- Strong understanding of the ophthalmology market, including trends, treatments, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel regionally as needed to engage with stakeholders and attend industry events.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
